This one-of-a-kind, ceramic owl was made by RAKU South Africa. Raku glazed pottery is handmade by African Artisans (mostly women & single mothers) in an area of high unemployment. Artisans are provided with training, access to medical facilities, and assistance with loans. The families of longer serving employees are also supported with funeral and ongoing living expenses.
